Graduate Engineer – Renewables Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for renewable development initiatives involving utility-scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects nationwide.

• Conduct routine engineering tasks, investigations, or observations under guidance.

• Aid in the creation of plans, specifications, and design deliverables.

• Investigate relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians from various disciplines.

• Execute design calculations, preliminary layouts, and single line drawings under the direction of project discipline leads.

• Attain proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, CYMCAP, SAM, PVsyst, and PVFarm.

• Prepare quantity takeoffs.

• Assist with permitting, utility crossing, and interconnection application designs.

• Help resolve design challenges through innovative engineering solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent is mandatory.

• Must have completed or be currently pursuing the degree with graduation anticipated within 6 months of hire.

• EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire is required.

• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD is preferred.

• Self-motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Dedication to client satisfaction and compliance with client-driven standards, timelines, and budgets.

• Must possess authorization for permanent work in the US.

• Eagerness and enthusiasm for acquiring new engineering skills and knowledge.
