Graduate Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct studies that support initial renewable projects, interconnection applications, NERC Compliance, and dynamic simulation modeling.

• Execute steady-state and dynamic power flow analyses utilizing PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, and various other software tools.

• Analyze performance to ensure adherence to NERC Compliance standards.

• Develop models and carry out model validations and benchmarking for renewable initiatives.

• Assist in preliminary work prior to plant design.

• Potentially engage in power system analysis, design, and testing activities.

• Present findings of studies both internally and to external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with current and prospective clients to pinpoint projects and support the sales of consulting services.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with an ABET-accredited program or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in an engineering internship is mandatory.

• A keen interest in conducting steady-state and dynamic power flow studies is essential.

• Strong ability to effectively communicate study results internally and externally.

• Capability to work with both existing and potential clients to identify projects, convey Ulteig’s offerings, and convert opportunities into consulting service sales.

• Proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.

• Willingness and ability to develop a diverse skill set for flexibility within internal workloads.

• Familiarity with PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, and other relevant software packages is required.

• Must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States.

• Previous experience with steady-state PSSE and renewable energy projects is preferred but not essential.
