This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Receive, assess, and manage graduate program applications in accordance with University policies and procedures.
• Verify application documents and follow up on any missing information.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of applicant records within specified systems.
• Collaborate with admissions staff, graduate program directors, faculty, and University offices to streamline the application review process.
• Notify prospective students of their application status, subsequent steps, deadlines, and requirements.
• Assist in the recruitment initiatives for various graduate programs.
• Address inquiries from prospective students via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms.
• Provide details regarding programs, admission criteria, application procedures, registration, and enrollment.
• Engage in virtual information sessions, recruitment events, webinars, and outreach initiatives.
• Maintain ongoing communication with prospective and admitted students throughout the recruitment and enrollment phases.
• Aid admitted and continuing graduate students with registration and enrollment processes.
• Work with academic departments and University offices to address any registration or enrollment issues.
• Monitor enrollment trends and assist with graduate student registration efforts.
• Act as a primary administrative point of contact for graduate students across designated programs.
• Offer guidance on academic program processes, University policies, deadlines, and available resources.
• Refer students to the appropriate faculty, advisors, financial aid officers, registrar staff, or other resources.
• Maintain electronic records related to applications, recruitment, admissions, and registration.
• Generate routine reports, spreadsheets, tracking documents, and status updates.
• Track application and enrollment metrics across multiple graduate programs.
• Identify process-related challenges and propose enhancements.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and security of student and applicant information.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in higher education, graduate admissions, student services, academic advising, enrollment management, or a related area.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to independently manage multiple programs, deadlines, and priorities.
• Proven ability to deliver professional and responsive service to students and applicants.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Aptitude for learning and utilizing student information, admissions, CRM, and registration systems.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote setting.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and managing sensitive student information appropriately.
• Preferred: Experience directly interfacing with graduate students or graduate-level academic programs.
• Preferred: Familiarity with graduate admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, or registration processes.
• Preferred: Knowledge of student information systems and online application platforms.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting multiple academic programs at once.
• Preferred: Understanding of higher education admissions and enrollment procedures.
• Preferred: Experience working within a remote or distributed team environment.
• Final candidates must complete a background investigation, including a criminal history check and, if applicable, financial and/or motor vehicle history review.
