Golang Developer – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and maintain product or system code while contributing to design choices and solution execution.

• Troubleshoot, enhance, and fix issues in existing systems to guarantee high performance and dependability.

• Implement design practices that prioritize scalability, consistency, and fault tolerance in critical applications.

• Actively engage in establishing architecture and development best practices.

• Collaborate with other technical teams, effectively communicating requirements and solutions.

• Operate in environments utilizing containers, orchestration, and cloud services, ensuring efficient and secure operations.

• Provide visibility into the team's work and outcomes for peers and stakeholders, maintaining continuous alignment on progress and challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing applications using Go (Golang).

• Proficient in technical English for reading documentation, troubleshooting issues, and communicating within a development context.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies.

• Experience with messaging systems and asynchronous processing techniques, including Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable technologies.

• Understanding of GitHub and best practices for code versioning.

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production settings.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or similar technologies.

• Strong grasp of concurrency, parallelism, and performance optimization methods.

• Dedication to development best practices, code quality, testing, and software architecture.

• Experience with mission-critical, distributed, and highly available applications.

• Background in projects related to the financial services or payments sector.

• Familiarity with programming languages used within the company’s ecosystem, including Elixir and Go.

• Experience with functional programming and ecosystems like Erlang, Clojure, or Lisp.

• Understanding of OTP (Open Telecom Platform) and concepts within the Erlang/Elixir ecosystem.

• Active involvement in the Go community and a continuous desire for learning and technical development.

• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and clearly communicate technical decisions in an objective manner.
