
Global Strategic Account Executive β Life Science Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of and implement global account strategies and manage relationships with major Pharma, biotech, academic/research, and CDMO clients.
β’ Foster alignment and simplify processes for global account profiling and value generation.
β’ Collaborate with internal partners to enhance customer experience and brand visibility through marketing and field initiatives.
β’ Lead negotiations for complex contracts and stimulate market share growth across the Trane Life Sciences portfolio.
β’ Analyze internal and external business challenges and suggest best practices to enhance products, processes, or services.
β’ Work in partnership with commercial teams to strengthen relationships and boost sales efficiency.
β’ Assist with strategic projects as necessary.
β’ Conduct strategic account business reviews and create contract value with sales leadership and business heads to meet financial objectives.
β’ Utilize CRM and reporting tools to ensure transparency regarding new account leads, relationship expansion, and funnel health.
β’ Tailor solutions to customer requirements and market possibilities, while contributing insights into organizational roadmaps and plans.
β’ Act as the account ambassador to promote ongoing innovation in life sciences.
β’ Collaborate with sales operations leadership to enhance business development processes and formulate repeatable segment solutions.
β’ Engage with executive and enterprise-level decision-makers to sustain trusted, long-lasting relationships.
β’ Increase sales within key accounts and work with regional sales teams to develop strategic business plans both locally and globally.
β’ Hold local sales teams accountable for executing the strategic plan.
β’ Negotiate committed, long-term agreements that generate value across the life sciences portfolio.
β’ Travel frequently to maximize face-to-face interactions with key customer stakeholders.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development and solution sales is essential.
β’ Experience in sales related to cold storage, process equipment, or directly with large pharmaceutical clients in the Life Sciences sector is preferred.
β’ Sales experience in Bioproduction, Drug Substance manufacturing, biotechnology, and large biopharma clients, along with familiarity with biologic drug development and drug substance process equipment needs and usage is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated results-oriented self-starter with the ability to maintain high-level business relationships that drive growth and meet annual operating plan goals.
β’ Proven track record of achieving high-level sales results, including identifying new opportunities and converting pipeline into bookings.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required; preferably in Life Sciences, Engineering, Technology, Science, or Business.
β’ Successful management of high-value strategic accounts in complex environments, translating customer strategies and objectives into valuable customer-centric solutions.
β’ Practical application of disciplined strategic account sales processes and proven success in penetrating new, complex accounts.
β’ Capability to accurately forecast future opportunities.
β’ Strong negotiation abilities and business acumen.
β’ Proficiency in persuading end users, financial buyers, and executive stakeholders regarding pricing negotiations, contract terms, and product configurations.
β’ Effective and strategic selling skills.
β’ Flexibility and adaptability in response to new information, changing conditions, or unforeseen challenges.
β’ Willingness to travel regularly, up to 50%, including up to 10% for global travel.
β’ This is a safety-sensitive role; successful candidates may be required to pass additional drug screenings.
