Global Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assist the sales team responsible for Orange Global and its subsidiaries across France, Europe, and Africa.

• Offer technical knowledge and expertise related to F5 solutions.

• Meet assigned sales targets by promoting relevant F5 solutions and products that align with customer business requirements.

• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customers’ technical and business challenges and recommending effective solutions.

• Clearly communicate F5 product strategy, messaging, positioning, value proposition, and solutions.

• Conduct sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept using both in-person and virtual methods.

• Assess opportunity viability and analyze organizational structures of complex global accounts.

• Lead the sales process alongside Account Managers by identifying champions and securing technical validation, support, and sponsorship.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams, sharing best practices and expertise.

• Participate in customer meetings for at least 50% of the time, either remotely or face-to-face when feasible.

• Report to the Global Solutions Engineering/Architect Manager of the Global Account Teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant industry experience.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Prior experience as a Solution Engineer for Orange or a global Telco Provider.

• Strong technical skills and knowledge of F5 products and their ecosystem.

• Familiarity with Data Centers, Virtualization, Cloud computing environments, and AI Factory infrastructures.

• Experience with Service Provider mobile network architectures and protocols, particularly 3GPP-defined 4G and 5G architectures and protocols, focusing on Packet Core and Telco Cloud infrastructures.

• Knowledge of next-generation network Data Center infrastructures, including high-speed connections, IP routing, and BGP-EVPN.

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• Experience in RFx processes.

• Understanding of Network and Application Security.

• Familiarity with F5 technology or similar industry solution deployments is advantageous.

• Knowledge of AI is a plus.

• Relevant certifications are beneficial.

• Proficient in verbal and written English.
