Global Solutions Architect

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the global cloud architecture standards for Rubrik Professional Services.

• Serve as the ultimate technical escalation point for cloud architecture decisions on strategic engagements across the globe.

• Shape the technical framework of cloud service offerings.

• Establish Rubrik PS's stance on emerging cloud capabilities, translating them into actionable deployment guidance.

• Manage architecture and design for intricate, high-visibility customer engagements across multiple regions, clouds, and regulators.

• Act as a trusted advisor to customer CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and CISOs.

• Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales teams on strategic initiatives, technical validations, effort assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Lead briefings and conduct multi-day design workshops both on-site and remotely.

• Create reference architectures, deployment automation, design templates, decision trees, and delivery accelerators.

• Mentor and provide technical development to Solutions Architects and senior consultants.

• Define technical competency standards and enablement processes for cloud technologies.

• Represent Rubrik Professional Services at conferences, customer advisory boards, and through published technical content.

• Influence Product Management and Engineering regarding the roadmap, supportability, and cloud-native features.

• Collaborate with Support, Customer Success, and PS Operations to enhance technical issue resolution, scoping, estimates, and delivery methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of overall experience, including over 8 years as a hands-on cloud architect at an enterprise scale.

• Proven ownership of architecture for multi-region, multi-account, or multi-subscription cloud environments.

• Expertise in AWS and Azure; GCP experience is highly preferred.

• Extensive knowledge across compute, storage, networking, identity, and encryption/key management.

• Strong understanding of enterprise data protection and cyber resilience, including RTO/RPO modeling, immutability, backup and recovery, and isolated/air-gapped recovery strategies.

• Proficient in cloud security and compliance frameworks.

• Strong background in automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Python, PowerShell, API-first integration, and CI/CD processes.

• Proven track record of influence within a global, matrixed organization across multiple time zones.

• Exceptional executive-level communication skills.

• Evidence of developing reusable technical intellectual property.

• Ability to quickly learn and master a complex new platform to expert level.
