Global Operations Expert, Tap Changers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Act as the global expert on Tap Changer manufacturing processes, methodologies, equipment, and operational best practices across various production sites.

• Create, uphold, and standardize production standards, quality documentation, training resources, certification programs, and equipment specifications.

• Lead and assist in Transfer of Technology initiatives, encompassing factory start-ups, production layouts, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing solutions.

• Propel continuous improvement by refining manufacturing processes, boosting productivity and asset utilization, cutting costs, and ensuring adherence to quality and customer expectations.

• Encourage and endorse digitalization, automation, and standardization initiatives throughout global Tap Changer manufacturing operations.

• Promote global collaboration through knowledge-sharing forums and partnerships with factory management, engineering, and operations teams.

• Contribute to enhancing product quality, operational performance, and the resilience of energy infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• At least five years of operational experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Demonstrated experience with Tap Changers and associated manufacturing processes.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement abilities.

• Proven capacity to drive change and influence stakeholders in a global context.

• Experience working within international organizations and diverse teams.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficient in English, both written and oral.

• Willingness to travel internationally to support factories, technology transfers, and production start-ups.

• Successful completion of any required pre-employment background checks and additional security screenings, if necessary.
