This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel revenue growth and enhance market penetration for the enterprise storage infrastructure platform within a designated territory.
• Cultivate both tactical and strategic relationships with prospects, current clients, business partners, and application ecosystem collaborators.
• Collaborate closely with a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer in the assigned territory.
• Meet or surpass sales quotas through partnerships.
• Create proposals and presentations tailored for prospects and clients.
• Develop responses to RFPs and RFIs in conjunction with partners.
• Oversee overall customer and partner satisfaction throughout the designated territory.
• Articulate the value and capabilities of the company’s platform in a competitive context to secure business.
• Open opportunities and secure business with larger enterprise prospects.
• Persuade others to strategically achieve results.
• Address challenges independently and utilize internal and partner resources effectively.
• Travel to customer locations within the assigned territory.
• Capability to transition from boardroom discussions to data center interactions, effectively communicating with both executives and individual contributors.
• Proficiency in qualifying and closing opportunities using company and partner resources.
• Demonstrated success in selling to financial services clients in the New York market.
• Established network and in-depth understanding of the regional financial industry landscape.
• Skill in presenting information in a clear and comprehensible manner.
• Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce for forecasting opportunities and managing relationships.
• Background working for EMC, HDS, IBM, HP, NetApp, or another reputable storage infrastructure vendor or business partner.
• Ability to manage customer satisfaction through both presales and postsales activities with support from HQ.
• Experience executing competitive takeout campaigns.
• Familiarity with TCO analysis tools and Proof of Concept (POC) processes to secure business.
• Experience collaborating with Business Partners to deliver solutions and services.
• A four-year college degree or a Master's degree is preferred.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, prioritize projects and deliverables, and drive timely and accurate decision-making.
• Must possess authorization to work in the US.
