This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Play a pivotal role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.
• Prepare and review intricate journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions, including billing, settlements, and eliminations.
• Conduct analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, and resolve accounting issues.
• Ensure that financial transactions adhere to U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership to establish processes, enhance efficiency, and promote continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvement initiatives aimed at accuracy, scalability, and automation.
• Develop, maintain, and document accounting policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Strengthen and uphold internal controls while promoting accounting best practices.
• Assist with the annual external audit and prepare relevant audit schedules.
• Support internal and external reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other business functions.
• Engage in special projects and ad hoc accounting initiatives.
• Mentor and cultivate accounting team members through coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 6–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in public accounting.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with Big 4 firms is preferred.
• Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, or rapidly scaling organizations is preferred.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment is preferred.
• Background in data centers, technology, infrastructure, real estate, construction, or other capital-intensive industries is a plus.
• Strong comprehension of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in driving process improvements and documenting accounting procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
