German Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the training of large-scale language models using high-quality German-language data.

• Evaluate advanced language models on aspects such as dialectal variation, the distinction between formal and colloquial language, German orthography, translation accuracy, semantic ambiguity, and cultural context.

• Record model failure modes to enhance model reasoning capabilities.

• Engage in conversations with the model regarding various language scenarios.

• Confirm factual accuracy and logical coherence.

• Document reproducible error traces.

• Recommend enhancements to prompt engineering and assessment metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the German language, including grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.

• Reside in Germany and comprehend the intricacies of the German language.

• Have access to an Android device.

• Provide a secure computer and reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Exhibit clear metacognitive communication and demonstrate your reasoning process.

• A Master's or PhD in German language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, translation work, or practical linguistic analysis projects indicates a good fit.
