German Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Namibia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate advanced language models focusing on German language topics.

• Document instances of model failures to enhance reasoning capabilities.

• Engage in conversations with models regarding various language scenarios.

• Assess the accuracy of facts and the soundness of logic.

• Record reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in the development of high-quality training data for AI language models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the German language, encompassing grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to analyze verb conjugation, the German case system, word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variations.

• Competence in conversing with advanced language models about language scenarios.

• Ability to verify the factual accuracy and logical consistency.

• Skill in capturing reproducible error traces.

• Capacity to suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills with an ability to “show your work.”

• A master's or PhD in German language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or practical linguistic analysis projects indicates a good fit.
