German Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Liechtenstein.

• Engage with advanced language models focused on German linguistic issues.

• Record model failure modes to enhance reasoning capabilities.

• Interact with models in various language scenarios.

• Assess factual accuracy and logical consistency.

• Document reproducible error patterns.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in generating high-quality training data for AI language models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the German language, covering grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.

• In-depth knowledge of verb conjugation, the German case system (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive), word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variation.

• Capability to engage in conversation with language models about language scenarios.

• Skill in verifying factual correctness and logical coherence.

• Competence in documenting reproducible error patterns.

• Ability to recommend improvements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills with a focus on transparency in methodology.

• A master's or PhD degree in German language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Publications in peer-reviewed journals, teaching experience, or involvement in practical linguistic analysis projects are favorable indicators of suitability.

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet connection for contract work.
