Georgian – English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Have a strong understanding of the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry, particularly in healthcare and medical contexts.

• Accurately render all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and complete interpretations.

• Adhere to established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training programs.

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide updates to your team leader.

• Follow dress code guidelines for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English).

• Native speaker of the target language, "Georgian."

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in over-the-telephone interpretation with a reputable interpretation company is advantageous.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is beneficial.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
