This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assist in the genetic results counseling program for hereditary cancer and adult genetics.
• Deliver results to patients utilizing an innovative approach to genetic results reporting.
• Examine risk assessments and results reports for patients undergoing hereditary cancer testing.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, such as abstracts and publications, physician education, and various projects.
• Collaborate with a national network of medical geneticists, biochemical and molecular geneticists, and over 100 counseling professionals.
• Provide support to multiple clients across the country.
• Master’s degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling.
• Certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or Active Candidate Status for ABGC.
• Multi-State Genetic Counselor licensure or the ability to obtain it.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in hereditary cancer Genetic Counseling after earning a Master’s Degree (preferred).
• Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities.
• Strong multi-tasking skills paired with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm local time zone.
