This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Assist in the coordination, documentation, and communication of medical services and decisions related to benefit administration.

• Analyze behavioral health criteria, policies, and procedures to ascertain suitable treatment, care, or services.

• Collaborate and communicate with providers, members, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal care and treatment.

• Utilize clinical expertise, effective communication, and independent critical thinking abilities.

• Make informed decisions regarding work methods in uncertain situations with limited guidance.

• Adhere to established guidelines and procedures.

• Complete training Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time.

• After training and precepting, work Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training, meetings, or business-related needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in Louisiana is required.

• Must fulfill one of the following licensure standards without a history of disciplinary action: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) – Multi-State Compact; or possess a master’s degree in a behavioral health-related discipline with a professional license from the state of Louisiana.

• Eligible licenses include LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, or Licensed Psychologist.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-degree clinical experience in direct patient care.

• At least 3 years of experience in Behavioral Health.

• Proficient in MS Office, managing multiple systems and platforms, and general technical troubleshooting in a remote setting.

• Flexibility to accommodate an Eastern Time schedule, with occasional weekends and holidays.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard PHI/HIPAA information.

• Minimum home internet speed requirement of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
