This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at both large and small hydroelectric power facilities, ensuring adherence to timelines, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
β’ Work in collaboration with site and construction managers to efficiently sequence tasks and guarantee the availability of necessary labor, tools, and resources.
β’ Assess the skills and performance of contractors, ensuring that all work is conducted in strict accordance with established procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines.
β’ Ensure that all operations comply with company safety protocols and local regulations, protecting the health and safety of personnel as well as the integrity of equipment.
β’ Keep technical drawings and documents current, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate technical solutions with engineering teams.
β’ Provide training to client teams on system operations and offer continuous technical support during and after the assembly phase.
β’ Encourage process analysis and the sharing of insights with the engineering team to enhance future operations.
β’ Completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or a related discipline.
β’ Prior experience as a generator assembly supervisor in hydroelectric power plants.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in English is advantageous.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in Spanish.
β’ Willingness and availability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, and to work on project sites.
β’ Relocation assistance is not provided.
