Generator Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assembly and installation of Kaplan and Francis turbines at hydroelectric power plants, ensuring adherence to schedules, contractual obligations, and quality standards.

• Collaborate with Site and Construction Managers to devise the sequence of activities, guaranteeing the availability of necessary workforce, tools, and resources.

• Evaluate the skills and performance of contractors, ensuring that execution strictly adheres to procedures, technical specifications, and quality guidelines.

• Ensure that all activities comply with company safety standards and local regulations, protecting both personnel and equipment.

• Maintain current control of drawings and technical documents, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and facilitating technical solutions with engineering teams.

• Provide training for customer teams on system operation and offer ongoing technical support during and after the assembly phase.

• Encourage process reviews and share insights with the engineering team to enhance future operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience supervising generator assembly at hydroelectric power plants.

• Intermediate proficiency in English is an advantage.

• Intermediate proficiency in Spanish.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently both domestically and internationally and to work at project locations.
