Generalist Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop, refine, and execute 2D/3D/UI assets, animations, and VFX in Unity for mobile gaming.

• Assist in defining and upholding the visual aesthetic of new game ideas.

• Collaborate closely with Game Designers and Developers from initial prototypes to full production.

• Transform gameplay concepts and design specifications into clear and effective visual representations.

• Rapidly iterate based on gameplay feedback, performance metrics, and player requirements.

• Contribute visual concepts and proactively recommend solutions.

• Assess, prioritize, and plan work to facilitate swift prototyping and production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in both 3D and 2D game artistry.

• Practical experience in implementing art assets within Unity.

• Solid understanding of mobile optimization and performance factors.

• Strong grasp of composition, readability, and visual hierarchy.

• Experience in mobile game development.

• Experience in Hybrid Casual, Casual, or Hypercasual genres is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI tools in the creative process or a strong willingness to learn and integrate new AI tools.

• Proven track record of taking games or game features from prototype to production.

• Having shipped games is an advantage.

• A proactive hands-on approach to creation and iteration rather than focusing solely on art direction or management.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make decisions with a high level of autonomy.

• A mindset oriented towards fast iteration and prototyping.
