This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the Oceania commercial metrics related to new business development, expansion, and customer retention.
• Establish the regional strategy, operational plan, and focus segments for the AU/NZ joinery market.
• Manage the regional budget and provide forecasts for leadership planning purposes.
• Control regional contribution margins, encompassing revenue, direct costs, and the local cost structure.
• Develop and maintain the regional operational rhythm, which includes pipeline reviews, account planning, issue escalation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Enhance pipeline health, forecast precision, and deal strategies in collaboration with Sales Leadership.
• Accelerate time-to-value, customer adoption, renewals, and support quality for AU/NZ clients.
• Address the time-zone challenges between the regional customer base and US-based support teams.
• Define hiring profiles and engage in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and performance discussions.
• Build trust with global functional leaders and escalate any alignment challenges.
• Articulate what it means to be part of INNERGY in the Oceania market.
• Act as a representative for INNERGY through educational initiatives, associations, industry events, partnerships, and local market narratives.
• Serve as the voice of Oceania to product teams and leadership regarding regional demands.
• Operational expertise in joinery, manufacturing, construction technology, or building products.
• Established credibility with shop owners concerning margins, throughput, and estimating accuracy.
• Experience managing a complex B2B software business characterized by lengthy cycles, multiple stakeholders, and products requiring significant implementation.
• Previous responsibility for a regional business or profit and loss management, rather than merely achieving a sales quota.
• Proven ability to deliver results in a matrixed environment, including accountability for outcomes managed by individuals outside of your direct supervision.
• Familiarity with both sales and post-sale processes.
• Commercial acumen to reject unsuitable business opportunities and provide justifications.
• Located in AEST/AEDT or NZST.
• Possess the legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand.
• Willingness to travel around 40% within the region, plus 1–2 trips to the US annually.
• Established network within the AU/NZ joinery, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience representing a region for a company headquartered offshore.
