This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Establish the strategic vision for Italy while achieving revenue, growth, and market share objectives.
• Develop a growth strategy and business case for target segments, practice areas, buying processes, pricing, and priorities.
• Formulate the strategy for enhancing Clio's presence in Italy and its role within the broader European context.
• Collaborate with revenue operations on execution plans, compensation structures, enablement, and incentives.
• Directly oversee, mentor, and develop the sales team in Italy.
• Recruit and cultivate leadership talent, particularly professionals who are AI-native and AI-fluent.
• Promote teamwork, transparency, creativity, continuous improvement, psychological safety, and curiosity about AI.
• Establish cross-functional relationships with product and engineering, marketing, customer success, and operations teams.
• Serve as the representative voice of the Italian market within Clio and assist in prioritizing product needs.
• Work with marketing on campaigns, awareness initiatives, experiments, and generating qualified leads.
• Keep abreast of industry, competitor, and regulatory trends.
• Benchmark best practices and sustain a competitive offering for SMBs.
• Represent Clio at events and conduct both online and in-person presentations.
• Build relationships with the Consiglio Nazionale Forense and local Ordini degli Avvocati.
• Seek endorsements and accreditations relevant to Italian firms.
• Develop partnerships within the technology and legal industries, including with resellers, consultants, and integration partners.
• Report to the General Manager, International, and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English.
• Over 8 years of experience in revenue leadership.
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams.
• Proven track record of managing a regional or national P&L, or a similar revenue responsibility, and consistently achieving targets.
• Experience in expanding a B2B SaaS business in a market that is not fully penetrated.
• In-depth knowledge of the Italian legal market.
• Established credibility with a professional services audience.
• Legal or legaltech experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen in areas such as pipeline management, forecasting, segmentation, pricing, and capacity planning.
• A genuine presence as a public representative for Clio in Italy, including participation in events, webinars, bar councils, partner discussions, and media engagements.
• Leadership style that maintains high standards while ensuring a safe environment for honest communication.
• Practical application of AI in personal work.
• A clear understanding of where AI enhances commercial judgment and where it does not.
• Evidence of transforming team operations through the use of AI.
