This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct independent investigations and manage a complete caseload of CGL claims.
• Facilitate prompt claim resolutions through proactive file management, strategic planning, and adherence to best practices.
• Evaluate complex policy language to assess coverage applicability.
• Execute thorough liability investigations.
• Oversee litigated files, including the selection and guidance of defense counsel.
• Negotiate settlements within assigned authority limits.
• Maintain proactive communication with insured parties, claimants, brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant state regulations, client service instructions, and internal audit and quality standards.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Adjuster licensing as mandated by the jurisdictions managed.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in handling commercial general liability claims is required.
• Strong grasp of CGL coverage, policy interpretation, and jurisdictional variances.
• Experience in managing litigated claims and collaborating with defense counsel.
• Familiarity with construction defects, additional insured coverage, and risk transfer strategies.
• Ability to evaluate liability, damages, and exposure in complex loss scenarios.
• Proficient negotiation and settlement abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft coverage correspondence and client reports.
