This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead the switchgear project team to ensure successful project outcomes for the client and Colonial.
• Act as the point of contact for the customer following order confirmation.
• Coordinate all project activities and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Supervise negotiations and technical staff in developing the Bill of Material (BOM).
• Submit product specifications for customer approval.
• Input shipping details into the Jobtrack proprietary software.
• Address customer inquiries and input data as required.
• Review and analyze switchgear specifications and project plans.
• Request pricing and lead times from manufacturers and sales representatives.
• Generate thorough and timely switchgear proposals.
• Accurately and effectively estimate project costs.
• Enhance sales and profitability by leveraging marketplace insights and competitive pricing.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes.
• Provide added value through the evaluation of existing blueprints.
• Review submittal approvals and adjust quotes accordingly.
• Assess changes in switchgear drawings, bulletins, and addendums, updating quotes as necessary.
• Identify opportunities to boost customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales and management on customer status, history, alterations, potential, quotations, strategies, and related sales data.
• Input data and communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
• Work closely with the Project Management team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay informed about new product developments and emerging technologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient computing skills to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Ability to comprehend technical product specifications and schematics.
• Knowledge of project accounting principles.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to accurately match and position information.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous follow-up.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
