This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Enhance customer engagement and drive sales performance through impactful in-person interactions.
• Establish robust, compliant relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office personnel across designated accounts.
• Communicate approved promotional and disease-state messaging to encourage appropriate product utilization.
• Utilize product, disease, and market knowledge to uncover opportunities and prioritize accounts effectively.
• Assist with patient access by providing information regarding reimbursement, hubs, and co-pay resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and promote business goals.
• Employ digital tools and insights to strategize, implement, and refine territory activities.
• Propel the launch and expansion of GI products through strategic, compliant relationships within assigned accounts.
• Work alongside Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders to implement promotional strategies, facilitate formulary access, and enhance customer engagement.
• Travel to all accounts and office locations within the designated territory.
• Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree coupled with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; marketing in the same sectors; or relevant therapeutic-specific healthcare provider experience.
• Possession of a valid US driver’s license and driving record that adheres to company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or similar impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify you from employment.
• 3–5 years of experience in specialty sales, ideally within Gastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation.
• Comprehensive understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and the specialty reimbursement and distribution processes.
• Proven experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts.
• Demonstrated business acumen, ability to make data-driven decisions, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong capability in digital engagement (e.g., Veeva Engage, Teams) and comfort with hybrid selling models.
• Must live within a reasonable distance of all business locations within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel to all accounts and office locations within the territory.
• Overnight stays may be necessary depending on the size of the territory and business requirements.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available currently or in the future.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
