Garment Manufacturing QC Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions and reviews of garment quality inspection scenarios alongside AI models.

• Assess whether the reasoning of the model is in line with actual quality control practices in factories.

• Evaluate classifications of defects and their severity.

• Analyze inspection workflows throughout various stages of production.

• Document recurring errors made by the model.

• Propose enhancements to training prompts and evaluation criteria.

• Contribute to the training of AI systems by leveraging expertise in real-world garment manufacturing quality control.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in inspecting garments and finished products within factory or production settings.

• Background in quality control within garment manufacturing.

• Strongly preferred practical experience on the factory floor in quality checking or garment inspection.

• Knowledge of sewing outputs, production lines, and inspection checkpoints.

• Capability to assess defect identification, measurement tolerances, stitching quality, material consistency, finishing standards, and adherence to production compliance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate quality assessments and production realities.

• A secure computer and high-speed internet connection are required for contractors.
