Garment Manufacturing QC Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tanzania.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions regarding garment quality inspection scenarios with AI models.

• Assess whether the reasoning of the model is in line with actual factory quality control practices.

• Evaluate the classification of defects and their severity levels.

• Analyze inspection processes throughout various stages of production.

• Document recurring errors made by the model.

• Propose enhancements to training prompts and evaluation standards.

• Challenge AI models on aspects such as defect identification, measurement tolerances, stitching quality, material consistency, finishing standards, and compliance with production guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in inspecting garments and finished products within factory or production settings.

• Background in quality control within garment manufacturing.

• Understanding of sewing outputs, production lines, and inspection checkpoints.

• Valuable hands-on experience on the factory floor related to quality checking or garment inspection.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate quality assessments and production realities.

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.

• Advanced technical education is not a prerequisite.
