Game Operations – Trading Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise pre-game and in-game player projections across all markets, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, CBB, and CFB.

• Continuously monitor player projections throughout the day and gather essential information necessary for accurate projections.

• Manage risk and oversee projections utilizing modeling and quantitative analysis techniques.

• Analyze the play patterns of PrizePicks members and modify internal processes as needed.

• Collaborate with sport owners to execute strategies, best practices, and processes relevant to key markets.

• Assist in establishing standard operating procedures for PrizePicks game operations tasks.

• Capability to analyze multiple streams of information simultaneously and make informed decisions in a highly time-sensitive setting.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding time management, reliability, and the ability to meet critical deadlines.

• Proficient understanding of Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and sports gaming industries.

• Comprehensive knowledge of college and major sports league players, teams, matchups, and how this information affects projections.

• Comfort with applying Standard Operating Procedures to all sports, irrespective of specialized knowledge or experience.

• Willingness to be receptive to various trading philosophies and adapt to strategies that best meet company objectives.

• Availability for work during nights and weekends in alignment with the sports schedule.

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, accounting) is preferred but not mandatory.

• One to three years of experience in Daily Fantasy Sports or Sports Gaming is preferred but not essential.

• Must possess authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
