Gambling Regulatory & Compliance Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the company's licensing endeavors across various jurisdictions.

• Draft and uphold documentation essential for acquiring and sustaining B2B gambling licenses in multiple regions.

• Perform legal research and keep abreast of regulatory requirements relevant to the company's operations.

• Evaluate legal risks and offer practical solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Facilitate communication with licensing bodies, external legal consultants, and international advisors.

• Support the licensing process from initial preparations through ongoing maintenance and regulatory reporting.

• Execute KYC and Due Diligence assessments for business partners.

• Gather, examine, authenticate, and retain KYC documentation.

• Maintain compliance records for partners and oversee the validity of documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to licensing requirements and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of legal experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the iGaming/Gambling sector.

• Demonstrated expertise in obtaining and maintaining B2B gambling licenses.

• Experience in preparing licensing documentation and liaising with regulatory bodies.

• Proven experience in conducting legal research and analyzing regulatory landscapes across various jurisdictions.

• Practical experience with KYC and Due Diligence processes.

• In-depth knowledge of civil, corporate, commercial, intellectual property, international, and banking law.

• Experience in negotiations and collaboration with international legal advisors and external consultants.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with handling multiple international licensing jurisdictions concurrently.

• Nice-to-have: Understanding of AML/CTF compliance requirements.

• Nice-to-have: Experience in regulatory reporting and compliance oversight.

• Nice-to-have: Previous experience in an international B2B technology or iGaming organization.
