Fungi Pathogens Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in dialogues with advanced language models regarding laboratory scenarios and theoretical questions related to fungal pathogens.

• Assess the factual accuracy and logical consistency of the responses generated by the models.

• Document reproducible error traces and outline the failure modes of the models.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Challenge language models on topics concerning fungal pathogens and medical mycology.

• Contribute to the enhancement of AI training data for scientific discovery, educational purposes, infectious-threat responses, and mycology research.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of fungal pathogens, medical mycology, antifungal resistance, host-fungus interactions, mechanisms of fungal virulence, environmental reservoirs, and clinical diagnostics.

• Familiarity with Candida, Aspergillus, Cryptococcus, endemic fungi, fungal culture techniques, staining and microscopy, antigen detection, molecular diagnostics, antifungal susceptibility testing, and biosafety protocols.

• A PhD in microbiology, medical mycology, pathology, or a related life-science discipline is preferred.

• Evidence of peer-reviewed publications, clinical or laboratory experience with fungal pathogens, or fieldwork in mycological surveillance is advantageous.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to demonstrate your reasoning.

• A secure computer and high-speed internet connection are required.

• Must be able to work as a contractor.
