Fundraising Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Secure funding for the Guthrie Theatre Capital Campaign

• Reach out to Guthrie patrons and current/lapsed donors using the leads provided

• Conduct all outreach virtually via a laptop or computer

• Adhere to fundraising and sales scripts

• Finalize sales and generate funds

• Receive feedback and coaching from management

• Engage in monitored calls for quality assurance and productivity

• Start working shifts immediately following training

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in fundraising or sales is mandatory

• A background in the Performing Arts is highly desirable

• Proficient with computers

• Access to a desktop or laptop

• High-speed internet connection

• Headset with a microphone

• Articulate and persuasive communication skills

• Capable of following and memorizing a script while sounding genuine and natural

• Consistently able to close sales and raise funds

• Available for paid training on Wednesday, 11/4, from 4:30–8:30 PM Central Standard Time

• Able to commit to 16 hours per week: Monday–Thursday from 4:30–8:30 PM and Friday–Saturday from 10 AM–2 PM CT

• Must reside in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, or California

• Regular access to an active email account
