Fund Development Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Assist the Fund Development team in prospect development and research efforts.

• Oversee and integrate data effectively.

• Conduct donor research and share pertinent information with staff members.

• Execute data entry and organization tasks in Salesforce.

• Investigate, prospect, and assess conferences.

• Engage in and present during weekly prospect strategy meetings.

• Aid in donor engagement outreach and fundraising initiatives, including Corporate Partnerships and Legacy programs.

• Offer adaptable support to fulfill the organization's wider requirements.

• Acquire knowledge about prospect qualification, fundraising, and the workings of an international development NGO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Research current and prospective donors, including the review, evaluation, and distribution of relevant information to staff.

• Assist with knowledge management activities, encompassing data entry and organization in Salesforce.

• Support research, prospecting, and evaluation of conferences.

• Participate and present in weekly prospect strategy meetings to aid fundraisers in their outreach efforts.

• Provide ad hoc assistance on fundraising initiatives such as the Corporate Partnerships and Legacy programs.

• Salesforce experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and formatting abilities.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience in conducting internet research.

• Self-motivated, able to multitask, and a collaborative team player.

• Eager and genuinely interested in the organization’s objectives.
