Functional Analyst – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Direct the discovery, analysis, and thorough definition of business requirements across key digital transformation projects.

• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and meetings to align stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop and maintain functional artifacts, process flows, user journeys, and documentation for solutions.

• Act as the main functional liaison for multidisciplinary teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• Lead backlog refinement to ensure clarity, prioritization, and strategic alignment.

• Engage in defining and evolving solutions alongside Architecture, Technology, Product, and Business teams.

• Assist in outlining MVPs, release plans, and strategies for digital product evolution.

• Supervise user acceptance testing, integration testing, business validations, and production rollouts.

• Guarantee traceability between business objectives, requirements, development, and deliverables.

• Spot opportunities for simplification, automation, and ongoing improvement.

• Employ Artificial Intelligence and prompt engineering techniques for discovery, documentation, requirements gathering, impact analysis, and insight generation.

• Advocate for AI best practices and assess new solutions to enhance delivery speed and create business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within complex technology environments.

• Background in digital transformation projects and the development of digital products and platforms.

• Proven experience in gathering and specifying both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

• Ability to function as a bridge between business and technology teams.

• Experience in process modeling, flow design, and crafting user stories.

• Practical experience using Artificial Intelligence tools for analysis, documentation, prioritization, and decision-making.

• Capability to use AI in a structured approach to enhance productivity and improve delivery quality.

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or similar solutions is an advantage.

• Knowledge of BPMN and process modeling is also a plus.
