Functional Analyst, Salesforce Marketing Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver daily operational assistance by troubleshooting issues and overseeing the maintenance and monitoring of assets, Data Extensions, automations, and SQL queries.

• Design, evaluate, and enhance automated, event-driven communication journeys.

• Enhance the integration between Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud (Salesforce Connect), establishing bidirectional flows and triggers connecting marketing and sales.

• Oversee data quality management, including deduplication, automated data uploads, and suppression rules.

• Document the solutions implemented.

• Engage in agile rituals such as refinements, planning, and reviews during 2–3 week sprints.

• Record hours and keep track of the backlog.

• Directly engage with the client team to prioritize requests and monitor operational performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Analyst/Developer.

• Proficient in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Data Extensions.

• Strong SQL skills for crafting queries and audience segmentation.

• Experience with AMPscript and/or SSJS for content personalization and automation tasks.

• Familiarity with integrating Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud (Salesforce Connect).

• Understanding of best practices in data quality (deduplication, cleansing, and suppression rules).

• Acquainted with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Knowledge of Trello, Jira, or Planner.

• Advanced or fluent English for participation in international projects (preferred).

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (SFMC Specialist, SFMC Consultant, or equivalent) (preferred).

• Experience with event-driven communication journeys and sales-funnel automation (preferred).

• Background in continuous support/operations environments (preferred).

• Familiarity with CDP and Data Cloud (preferred).
