Fullstack Engineer – AgenticOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design, assess, test, and deliver dependable software for QVAC application teams.

• Create and sustain developer tools for both desktop and mobile applications, along with their shared runtime, AI harness, and skills packages.

• Incorporate AI agents into engineering processes.

• Enhance code quality and streamline delivery automation.

• Analyze, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, including repository guidance and necessary integrations.

• Construct and manage agents in CI and scheduled workflows to identify failures, suggest solutions, and offer actionable insights.

• Enhance automated pull request reviews by assessing finding precision and minimizing reviewer distractions.

• Create code quality scripts and checks to evaluate complexity, function and file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.

• Collaborate with package owners to establish practical thresholds and targeted refactoring.

• Advance development environments, testing, and build and release processes.

• Prioritize enhancements with engineering teams, facilitate adoption through documentation and onboarding, and assess effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs.

• Oversee tooling enhancements from implementation to adoption and ongoing support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation utilized by others.

• Proficient skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

• Direct experience with using and integrating AI coding tools or agents.

• Strong judgment regarding AI tool limitations, output validation, and the necessity for human review.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and systematic debugging of build, test, or integration issues.

• A solid focus on code quality, maintainable code, effective automated checks, and behavior-preserving refactoring.

• Capability to work independently while also collaborating with engineers.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Ability to operate within a remote, globally distributed team.
