Fullstack Engineer – AgenticOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Assist QVAC application teams in the development, review, testing, and delivery of dependable software with minimal friction.

• Create and sustain developer tools for both desktop and mobile applications, along with their shared runtime, AI harness, and skills packages.

• Incorporate AI agents into engineering processes.

• Enhance code quality and automate delivery processes.

• Assess, integrate, and manage developer tools and AI agents, including repository guidance and necessary integrations.

• Construct and manage agents in CI and scheduled workflows to analyze failures, suggest solutions, and provide actionable insights.

• Enhance automated pull request reviews by assessing finding accuracy and minimizing reviewer distractions.

• Develop scripts and checks for code quality, focusing on complexity, function and file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.

• Collaborate with package owners to establish practical thresholds and targeted refactoring efforts.

• Enhance development environments, testing frameworks, and build and release workflows.

• Prioritize enhancements with engineering teams, support adoption through documentation and onboarding, and evaluate effectiveness, reliability, and operational costs.

• Select and refine workflows in collaboration with the engineers who utilize them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation utilized by others.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.

• Practical experience with AI coding tools or agents, including integration.

• Good judgment regarding the limitations of AI tools, output validation, and the necessity for human review.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and methodical debugging of build, test, or integration issues.

• Strong focus on code quality, maintainable code, effective automated checks, and behavior-preserving refactoring.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Capability to work within a remote, globally distributed team.
