Fullstack Developer – SSE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the client’s in-house engineering team dedicated to a clinical learning platform that is currently undergoing migration and the addition of AI-driven features.

• Develop, construct, and uphold front-end, back-end, and API components utilizing TypeScript, Node.js, and React.

• Create and integrate AI functionalities using LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar technologies.

• Design data models and produce optimized SQL queries.

• Facilitate technical discussions, evaluate code, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Collaborate in Agile sprints with teams in the US, including tasks like refinement, estimation, and providing status updates.

• Serve as the primary point of escalation for intricate technical challenges within the relevant domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering, with extensive hands-on full-stack involvement.

• Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and React.

• Experience with SQL, relational data modeling, and query optimization.

• Knowledge of REST API design and third-party integrations.

• Practical experience in integrating LLM APIs and applying prompt engineering techniques (structured outputs, system prompts).

• Regular use of AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar).

• Familiarity with unit testing / TDD and conducting code reviews within Agile teams.

• Strong spoken and written English skills, with the ability to work directly with US clients.

• Understanding of agentic AI concepts: tool/function calling, MCP, agent frameworks, LLM evaluation (LLM-as-judge, regression tests).

• Knowledge of responsible AI practices: guardrails and PII handling.

• Experience with LMS integrations, such as Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or LTI/SCORM-based platforms.

• Proficiency in Python; exposure to Java or .NET is a plus.

• Experience in the healthcare, EHR (e.g., Epic), or edtech sectors.

• Previous roles as a tech lead or mentor are highly valued.
