Fullstack AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and supervise generative and agent-based AI agents to develop scalable solutions.

• Design architecture and define the what and why of each solution.

• Review, refactor, and validate code generated by AI.

• Write your own code for critical or ambiguous components.

• Design smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.

• Validate test coverage and relevant business cases.

• Define architecture for batch data pipelines.

• Audit schemas and ensure consistency between sources and destinations.

• Oversee training of standard models and hyperparameter tuning.

• Evaluate model outcomes against business problems.

• Accelerate incident triage and diagnosis, resolving common runbooks.

• Validate and prioritize security recommendations and patches.

• Define acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.

• Design prompts, context, and reusable workflows for copilots and generative AI.

• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate services, pipelines, and models.

• Strengthen technical standards and AI oversight practices at Creai.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-10 years of experience as a Fullstack developer.

• Hands-on experience (minimum 1-2 years) in backend and frontend development, either through direct coding or leading its generation with AI tools.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

• In-depth experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Solid knowledge of pandas and scikit-learn.

• Strong experience working with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and their ML services.

• Solid foundations in data structures, design patterns, and architecture principles.

• Experience using AI agents like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code in actual development workflows.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing.

• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

• Familiarity with cloud services and Git.

• Initial experience in projects involving machine learning or applied AI.

• Technical insight to evaluate AI outputs.

• Autonomy in medium-complexity tasks and orchestration of multiple AI tools.

• Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

• Interest in DevSecOps practices and leveraging AI to enhance productivity.

• Advanced English skills, both written and spoken.

• Proven technical leadership and mentoring abilities.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists and product managers.
