Full Stack Web Developer – PHP/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the overall goals of the product and the company through the development of new features and maintenance tasks.

• Address bugs, improve performance, and resolve security vulnerabilities.

• Create new microservices that meet high scalability standards.

• Design work with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Engage in both horizontal and vertical engineering for new feature development.

• Evaluate existing feature sets.

• Employ innovative and advanced technologies to tackle complex problems in SaaS and high-availability systems within modern logistics operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a specialized field (e.g., Software Engineering or Computer Science) and/or substantial experience in Software Development.

• Extensive experience in developing with PHP 7+ and a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Proficient in handling REST API responses formatted in JSON.

• Familiarity with NoSQL data storage solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Firestore).

• Experience with one or more contemporary PHP frameworks, such as Laravel, Yii, Symfony, etc.

• Background in RESTful API development.

• Considerable experience with React.

• Strong command of JavaScript.

• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• Proficient in Git (both GUI and command line) and best practices in version control for web development.

• Experience with unit testing in a CI/CD environment.

• Excellent analytical abilities and written communication skills.

• Ability to quickly learn and understand the intricacies of multiple interconnected systems.

• Experience with TypeScript is an asset.

• Familiarity with Azure services is a bonus.

• Experience with AWS SDKs and APIs is a bonus.

• Knowledge of Docker is a bonus.

• Experience with Angular is a bonus.

• Familiarity with the Atlassian product suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
