Full Stack Web Developer – .NET, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and sustain secure web applications utilizing C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL Server.

• Develop and refine functional prototypes based on business or market demands using AI-assisted development tools.

• Assist in application modernization, integrations, bug resolution, and performance enhancements across the web application ecosystem.

• Collaborate with team members and clients to clarify requirements, estimate solutions, and deliver functional software.

• Effectively communicate ideas, issues, risks, and obstacles in a timely manner to facilitate reliable delivery.

• Contribute to code quality through unit testing, clean design, maintainable implementations, and secure development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be taken into account.

• Mid-level proficiency in English for both written and verbal communication with internal teams and clients.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in web application development using C# and .NET / ASP.NET.

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience in Python development for backend services, scripting, automation, integrations, or prototyping.

• At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript, including practical application of jQuery and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework 6 or newer.

• Working knowledge of Angular and contemporary front-end development practices.

• Strong experience with SQL Server, covering database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance-focused development.

• Comprehensive understanding of code quality practices, unit testing, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code principles.

• Awareness of application security practices, including OWASP, authentication hardening, SQL Server security, and SQL injection vulnerability prevention.

• Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or Google AI Studio.

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar is advantageous.

• Background in the insurance, financial services, or regulated industries is a plus.

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is beneficial.

• Experience in building functional prototypes or proof-of-concepts using AI-assisted development platforms is a plus.
