Full Stack Software Engineer, Billing Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop the billing and metering platform for ClickHouse Cloud.

• Design and implement essential processes that facilitate billing operations.

• Create and validate technical decisions and solutions for colleagues and stakeholders.

• Provide secure, efficient, robust, and highly available frameworks and platforms.

• Simplify infrastructure complexity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish business strategies, user requirements, and optimal solutions.

• Integrate with billing, metering, logging, monitoring, support, and various external systems.

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to enhance reliability, scalability, privacy, security, observability, accuracy, and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent software development experience in creating front-end systems for cloud environments.

• Hands-on experience in leading and executing large-scale technical projects with a team of seasoned engineers.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Serverless, EKS, SQS, Mongo, Node.js, and React.

• Familiarity with multiple programming languages is preferred.

• Knowledge of billing concepts such as credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure), invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record-keeping.

• Experience in designing and managing high-scale, distributed systems throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Expertise in a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and its infrastructure-as-a-service offerings.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within and across engineering teams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and production-debugging skills.

• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for future visa sponsorship.
