Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain full-stack functionalities across both frontend applications and backend services.

• Create and manage backend APIs that facilitate onboarding, authentication, transaction processes, and operational workflows.

• Construct and improve both customer-facing and internal web applications.

• Integrate systems with third-party services and external providers.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0 flows.

• Operate within a microservices architecture to deliver scalable backend solutions.

• Maintain security, performance, reliability, and observability standards, including monitoring practices.

• Engage in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.

• Produce and uphold clear technical documentation.

• Take ownership of features from design through to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer working across both frontend and backend systems.

• Extensive experience in building backend services using Golang and/or Java.

• Proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript v5.

• Experience developing frontend applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.

• Excellent SQL skills and familiarity with PostgreSQL.

• Experience in an AWS environment.

• Knowledge of microservices and distributed backend systems.

• Familiarity with AWS services, including S3.

• Experience with containerized services, as well as Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.

• Background in implementing OAuth 2.0 flows.

• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Grafana or similar tools.

• Proficient with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with VS Code / Cursor debugging.

• Understanding of multi-threading concepts and goroutines.

• Experience with webhooks and/or WebSocket technologies.

• Background in architecture and system design.

• Comfort with using AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, payments, or other regulated industries is an advantage.

• Experience in building internal dashboards or operational tools is a plus.

• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and secure system design principles.

• A short two-minute video question must be completed as part of the screening process.
