Full-Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver backend services and APIs that support internal tools and the deployed medical device platform.

• Create and oversee data pipelines that link operating-room devices to cloud processing and diagnostic systems.

• Transform surgical videos, medical imaging, and AI model outputs into reliable user interfaces.

• Transition research prototypes into production-quality software, complete with testing and thorough documentation.

• Lead testing, CI/CD, and containerization efforts to ensure dependable software releases.

• Collaborate with teammates in computer vision, machine learning, and design to provide comprehensive software solutions.

• Uphold development practices that comply with medical-grade regulatory standards.

• Deliver software across at least two stack layers within the initial 3–6 months.

• Gain expertise in edge and cloud software and the data flow from the operating room to diagnostics.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation that meets regulatory standards.

• Build effective working relationships with colleagues in software, computer vision, machine learning, modeling, and design.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field of demonstrated experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience; senior candidates should possess significantly more experience.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.

• Experience in building or integrating APIs and backend services.

• Strong foundational skills in debugging, testing, asynchronous programming, and version control.

• Comfortable working with Git and Linux-based development environments.

• Availability that overlaps with U.S. business hours.

• Fluent or professional working proficiency in spoken and written English for client-facing interactions.
