Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Gain insight into users, their needs, and software usage patterns.

• Translate user insights into precise requirements and actionable product choices.

• Develop features utilizing Postgres, APIs, and React interfaces with TypeScript and Python.

• Create intuitive interfaces based on actual tasks and workflows.

• Collaborate with data models, manage migrations, authentication, and permissions.

• Execute and validate changes.

• Analyze failures and monitor features through deployment and production usage.

• Collaborate with seasoned engineers across the database, API, and interface domains.

• Review code generated by AI development tools for accuracy.

• Influence product direction, architecture, and framework choices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in full-stack software development.

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, React, and relational databases with SQL.

• Knowledge of APIs, authentication, permissions, and debugging processes.

• Capability to articulate decisions and navigate unfamiliar challenges.

• Passion for product development and enhancing user experience.

• Proficiency in using AI development tools and critically assessing their outcomes.

• Competence in testing and validating changes.

• Accountability for work, transparent communication regarding progress, and readiness to seek assistance when required.

• Fluent communication in English.

• Residency in Hungary for a full-time employment contract.

• Additional experience with Python, Supabase, or similar backend platforms is advantageous.

• Familiarity with deploying applications, maintaining production systems, or working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Submission of a CV or description of a project; links to GitHub, portfolio, and other projects are encouraged.
