Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create scalable backend services and APIs utilizing Go/Golang

• Develop responsive and user-centric web applications with Angular

• Create reusable Angular components and user interface modules

• Connect Angular applications to RESTful backend APIs

• Design and enhance databases using PostgreSQL and MySQL

• Formulate complex SQL queries, database schemas, indexes, and data models

• Build and maintain microservices and REST APIs

• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0/JWT

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests

• Diagnose application and production issues

• Engage in code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD processes, deployments, monitoring, and production support

• Work alongside architects, product managers, QA, and other engineering teams

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in full stack software development or a similar software engineering role

• Proven experience in developing backend applications and services with Go/Golang

• Skilled in developing web applications using Angular

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, including database design and SQL development

• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed application development

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization principles, particularly OAuth 2.0 and/or JWT

• Experience in writing automated tests, encompassing unit and integration testing

• Knowledge of Git and standard software development methodologies

• Experience with CI/CD processes and supporting software during deployment and in production

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities

• Capacity to work collaboratively with engineering, QA, DevOps, product, and architecture teams

• Preferred: Experience with both PostgreSQL and MySQL

• Preferred: Background in end-to-end testing

• Preferred: Experience in a microservices-based environment

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices
