Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire development process, managing features from technical design and development through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancements.

• Produce clean, secure, readable, maintainable, and scalable code.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other cross-functional teams.

• Design, integrate, and construct both internal and external APIs.

• Create new products and features while also refining and updating existing systems.

• Write and optimize SQL queries, as well as design relational database schemas.

• Develop and maintain complex backend services and algorithms.

• Profile, debug, and enhance both new and legacy code.

• Create experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering practices to enhance quality, reliability, security, and developer experience.

• Deliver thoughtfully and frequently in an agile setting with continuous deployment.

• Utilize approved AI-assisted development tools to minimize repetitive tasks, explore solutions, and boost productivity while exercising engineering judgment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Profound understanding of web development concepts and principles.

• Demonstrated examples of full-stack projects or key product features.

• At least one major project showcasing frontend code, backend code, and a database.

• Capability to design, develop, and launch a web application or significant feature from inception to completion.

• Quick learner with the ability to navigate established codebases and independently acquire new skills.

• A minimum of five years of professional web development experience across any technology stack.

• At least three years of experience with SQL, including relational schema design and complex query writing.

• Familiarity with best practices related to web application, data, and SQL security.

• Comfort working beyond framework abstractions and understanding underlying mechanics.

• Experience with Git in a collaborative team setting.

• Strong engineering judgment and prudent use of modern development tools, including AI assistants, with a focus on security, privacy, and code quality.
