This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and deliver customer-focused features across the complete stack, which includes Vue components, Laravel, Spring Boot, TypeScript-driven AWS Lambda services, data models, and migrations.
• Leverage AI coding tools and critically assess their output to meet the same quality standard as your own code.
• Create and document API endpoints, ensuring proper pagination, filtering, and error handling for extensive customer environments.
• Implement logging and metrics for releases, monitor performance post-launch, and address issues highlighted by data analysis.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to evaluate the roadmap and translate requirements into technical plans and deployable increments.
• Develop unit and end-to-end tests.
• Conduct code reviews and engage in peer code assessments.
• Enhance performance, tackle technical debt, and ensure maintainability.
• Participate in the on-call rotation of the team.
• Contribute to the communal component library.
• Work alongside product managers, UX designers, and Quality Engineers.
• Consistently deliver features to customers and take ownership of feature development from start to finish.
• At least three years of experience in building and delivering enterprise web applications.
• Expertise in TypeScript with a modern component framework, preferably Vue.
• Experience in server-side development using an object-oriented programming language, with a preference for Java with Spring Boot and TypeScript on Node.js.
• Familiarity with both relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, along with an understanding of queries that might not scale effectively.
• Proven experience in writing automated tests for the code you produce.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• A genuine passion for addressing customer challenges.
• Experience collaborating with agile, cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and product management.
• Ability to decompose complex functionalities into straightforward technical designs.
• Comfort in navigating between Vue components and database queries in a single day.
• A desire for continuous learning and sharing knowledge with peers.
• Capacity to advocate for technological and process changes with humility and respect.
• A sense of ownership and curiosity that drives you to resolve problems thoroughly.
