Full Stack Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain contemporary web applications, covering the user interface, API, and data layers.

• Create new product capabilities and enhance existing applications.

• Connect third-party APIs and other external services.

• Construct internal tools and automations that eliminate manual tasks from business operations.

• Convert business requirements into dependable, maintainable software solutions.

• Diagnose problems and enhance the performance and reliability of applications.

• Engage in code reviews to refine engineering practices.

• Collaborate with AWS infrastructure in both production and non-production settings.

• Contribute to infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Optimize workflows related to environments, releases, and debugging.

• Participate in monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing activities.

• Investigate production challenges, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement corrective measures.

• Employ security best practices such as least-privilege IAM, network security, encryption, secrets management, and secure configuration.

• Track AWS expenditures by optimizing resource allocation, autoscaling, and decommissioning unused resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in developing and deploying production web applications from start to finish.

• Strong programming skills in a modern typed or backend language, with the capability to quickly adapt to new languages.

• Proficient frontend abilities: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with a modern component framework (React or similar).

• Practical experience managing applications on AWS or a similar cloud platform.

• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, and infrastructure as code.

• Comfortable managing the systems you create — debugging production issues, analyzing logs and metrics, and enhancing reliability over time.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.

• Proficient in Git and pull-request based collaboration.

• Strong analytical abilities alongside clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be available to work during US time zones (minimum EST).

• Nice to have: TypeScript; Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js; Terraform; container orchestration; observability tools; AI services or LLM APIs; AI-assisted development tools; SOC 2 or similar compliance experience; automation or workflow tools.
