Full Stack Engineer – Cloud, SaaS Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop integrations with third-party billing and usage APIs.

• Manage authentication, incremental synchronization, rate limits, error handling, and schema drift.

• Contribute to the Integrations Framework, testing harnesses, and scaffolding.

• Utilize AI daily for codebase management, API exploration, prototyping, code generation and review, debugging, testing, and documentation.

• Create customer interfaces for connecting, configuring, and monitoring integrations.

• Ensure health and status visibility, provide actionable error states, manage credential and key rotation, and deliver necessary feedback requiring attention.

• Design self-service backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics for both customers and internal teams.

• Develop capabilities that are fully accessible through APIs as well as the user interface.

• Implement features comprehensively from proposal through specification, implementation, and maintenance.

• Proactively suggest valuable additions to the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping and owning features in a production environment.

• Proficient in TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on modern frontend development; React is preferred.

• Practical experience with Go or strong backend expertise in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with a genuine enthusiasm to quickly learn Go.

• Proven experience in designing and consuming REST APIs, integrating third-party APIs with authentication flows, pagination, rate limits, handling partial failures, and managing breaking changes.

• Comfortable working across the entire stack; capable of owning a feature from the database to the user interface.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience in developing solutions in the cloud and/or utilizing cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Instinct for user-facing operational tooling and actionable error messages.

• Experience using AI tools throughout the engineering workflow.

• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS applications.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated; confident, thorough, and persistent.

• Bonus: Experience in building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks.

• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud or SaaS billing data or the FOCUS specification.

• Bonus: Experience with BigQuery, data pipelines, or orchestration tools such as Dagster or Airflow.

• Bonus: Experience in developing AI-powered product features.

• Bonus: Exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
