Full Stack Engineer – Cloud & SaaS Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and implement integrations with third-party billing and usage APIs, focusing on authentication, incremental synchronization, rate limits, error handling, and schema drift.

• Contribute to DoiT's Integrations Framework, including testing harnesses and scaffolding.

• Utilize AI on a daily basis to analyze codebases and APIs, prototype, generate, and review code, debug, write tests, and create documentation.

• Develop customer interfaces for connecting, configuring, and monitoring integrations.

• Establish health and status visibility, actionable error notifications, credential and key rotation, and operational feedback mechanisms.

• Design self-service backfills, reconnects, and diagnostic tools.

• Create capabilities fully through APIs for both human and agent interactions.

• Manage features comprehensively from proposal through specification, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Independently suggest valuable additions to the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping and owning features in production environments.

• Proficient in TypeScript, with a strong focus on modern frontend development - experience with React is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Go, or substantial backend experience in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with a genuine eagerness to quickly learn Go.

• Practical experience in designing and consuming REST APIs, and integrating third-party APIs that involve authentication flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, and breaking changes.

• Comfortable working across the entire stack; capable of owning a feature from the database to the user interface.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience in developing solutions within cloud environments and/or utilizing cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• A user-centric approach with a focus on operational tooling and meaningful error messages.

• An AI-augmented working style; currently using AI tools throughout the engineering process.

• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for creating high-quality web/SaaS applications.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated; confident, thorough, and persistent.
