Full Stack Engineer – Cloud, SaaS Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of DoiT's Integrations Framework and the associated user experience.

• Design and implement integrations with third-party billing and usage APIs.

• Manage authentication, incremental synchronization, rate limits, error handling, schema drift, and testing procedures.

• Enhance the Integrations Framework, testing tools, and scaffolding structures.

• Utilize AI on a daily basis to investigate codebases and APIs, prototype solutions, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and document processes.

• Develop customer interfaces for establishing, configuring, and trusting integrations.

• Ensure health and status visibility, provide actionable error states, facilitate credential and key rotation, and offer feedback when attention is required.

• Design self-service solutions for backfilling, reconnecting, and diagnosing issues.

• Make functionalities accessible through both APIs and the user interface.

• Execute features comprehensively from proposal through specification, implementation, and maintenance.

• Independently suggest valuable additions to the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, delivering and owning features in production environments.

• Proficient in TypeScript, including modern frontend development; experience with React is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Go, or significant backend experience in Python, Java, Node.js, or C#, with a willingness to learn Go.

• Familiarity with designing and utilizing REST APIs, as well as integrating third-party APIs, including authentication flows, pagination, rate limits, handling partial failures, and adapting to breaking changes.

• Comfortable working across the entire stack, taking ownership of features from database to user interface.

• Working knowledge of SQL.

• Experience in developing solutions in the cloud and/or using platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• A user-centered approach towards operational tooling and crafting actionable error messages.

• Previous experience with AI-augmented engineering workflows.

• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• A demonstrated passion for building high-quality web/SaaS applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-organized, goal-driven, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and persistent.

• Bonus: Experience in developing integration platforms or extensibility frameworks.

• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud or SaaS billing data, FOCUS specification, BigQuery, Dagster, Airflow, AI-powered product features, or FinOps.

• A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
